Water resistant Coatings

Masonry has capillaries that allow ingress of moisture, this moisture expands and contracts damaging the surface called spalling, this also creates a colder wall if the moisture lacks sufficient heat to evaporate.

 JSB identified the cause of damp, in this case, the property suffered from driving rain bridging the cavity by means of the cavity wall insulation.
